Our Story

It started with a father and a flame. India's Clay Oven, Monterey, California, 1989. Then Gandhi India's Cuisine in 1992. Second-generation restaurateur Sunny Dhillon grew up in those kitchens. In 2004, he opened Tamba on the Las Vegas Strip — the first Indian restaurant to merge fine dining with the energy of Las Vegas. Twenty years later, he built the home the family always deserved. Tamba means "copper" in Hindi — a metal sacred in Indian tradition, believed to purify water and bring good health. The restaurant is led by Executive Chef Anand Singh, born in Uttarakhand in the Himalayan foothills, with over 20 years across six countries. Chef Sung Park, Korean-born and French-trained, leads the sushi and raw bar program.

Private Dining & Events

Four venue options: Jadu Private Room (12-14 guests, $3,500 minimum), Lounge & Bar (20-60 guests), Main Dining Room (30-120 guests), Full Venue Buyout (up to 140 guests, $25,000 minimum).
